In general, it contains 0.12-0.20% carbon, 0.30-0.60% manganese, and 0.03% max phosphorus. Mechanically, the pipe demonstrates good tensile strength, with tensile strength between 450 to 600 MPa, and good yield strength, generally between 250 and 450 MPa. It also provides high hardness as well as resists wear, thus suitable for the most demanding industrial applications which both require strength and resistance to deformation.
